1. Purpose and Values
QUINTO PIANO SRLS (“the Company”) is committed to integrity, transparency and respect for people, guests, suppliers and the community. This Code of Conduct defines the ethical standards that guide our daily work:
- Zero tolerance for bribery, fraud or money-laundering
- Compliance with health-and-safety, labour and environmental laws
- Protection of personal data and confidentiality
- Non-discrimination and respect for human rights
- Responsible sourcing and fair competition
All employees, collaborators, suppliers and partners must adhere to these principles. Breaches may trigger disciplinary actions or contract termination.
2. Who can report?
- Employees, interns, consultants and suppliers
- Job applicants and former workers
- Guests or any third party who becomes aware of misconduct connected to the Company
3. What can be reported?
- Violations of this Code, Italian or EU law (e.g. corruption, fraud, workplace harassment, environmental damage, misuse of guests’ data)
- Retaliation against a whistle-blower
- Attempts to conceal any of the above
Complaints about stay quality (cleaning, maintenance, noise, billing) should first be addressed to Front Desk or info@quintopiano.it; they are not handled by the whistle-blowing channel.

The channels are managed by the Supervisory Body (OdV), an independent committee appointed under D.Lgs 231/2001.
5. Confidentiality & Anonymity
- Reports may be submitted anonymously; personal data are optional.
- The OdV keeps the identity of the whistle-blower strictly confidential and may disclose it only with the whistle-blower’s explicit consent or upon order of a judicial authority.
- All data are processed in accordance with GDPR (see § 8).

7. Protection against retaliation
Any direct or indirect retaliation (dismissal, demotion, threats, negative references, etc.) against a person who made or intended to make a report is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disciplinary measures and may be prosecuted.
8. Data processing notice
Personal data included in a report are processed under Art. 6 (1)(c) and (f) GDPR and D.Lgs 24/2023 for the purpose of handling the report and preventing misconduct. Records are stored securely for a maximum of 5 years from closure of the case, then erased.
9. External reporting (ANAC)
If you reasonably believe your report cannot be effectively addressed internally, or if you have not received feedback within 3 months, you may contact the Italian Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) via the dedicated portal: https://servizi.anticorruzione.it/segnalazioni/#/
10. Disciplinary measures
Employees or managers who:
- violate this Code, the law or company procedures;
- retaliate against a whistle-blower;
- knowingly file false or malicious reports,
may face sanctions up to dismissal, per the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement and company policies. Suppliers may face contract termination and claims for damages.
11. Training & awareness
All personnel receive annual training on the Code of Conduct and the whistle-blowing procedure. New hires must read and sign the Code within 30 days of employment.
